Michael Kors MK2251 Ladies Mercer Chronograph Watch

Okay, so this one is for all you fellows that are looking for a great gift for that special woman in your lives. In my opinion it is incredibly hard to find a well-designed watch for women at an affordable price. Yes, there are tons of watches out there for women to choose from, but if you want a good looking one then be prepared to take out a new mortgage. However, there is one manufacturer out there that is looking to ‘buck’ the trend and offer a quality watch for an affordable price. Let me introduce you to Michael Kors.

I am sure that you have heard of Michael Kors before. This top designer (normally associated with sportswear in America) had made it their mission to develop brilliant looking watches at highly affordable prices. Their watches in particular are particularly fabulous with the company always striving to keep up with the latest trends in the world of fashion. In fact, you will find that the majority of these designs are ‘cat walk ready’.

The watch I want to talk about here is the Michael Kors MK2251 Ladies Mercer Chronograph Watch. They do offer a number of other watches in their range, but this is by far one of my favourites. Even if you look at a picture of the watch you know that there is a ton of quality there.

When you hold this watch, straight away you will be struck by the quality and the beauty of the materials. A particular highlight for me is the stainless steel case which has been perfectly plated in gold. This means that you will have something that matches all of your jewellery without the hefty price tag attached to it! The dial window is ‘mineral’ and thus crystal clear. It is also VERY resistant to scratching so you don’t need to worry about using this in your day to day life. The dial itself is powered by Japanese Quartz and thus incredibly accurate.

The band (which is one of the most important things for women) is brown leather. This of course means that the watch is perfect not only for casual day to day usage, but also if you wish to complement your outfit at a semi-formal event.

If you are looking for a ‘high quality’ designer watch then the price for this is the very minimum that I would spend. Any lower and you would probably end up with something that is sub-par. The great thing about Michael Kors is that they have a fairly good reputation when it comes to ensuring that any problems with their watches are sorted out pretty quickly. To be honest though, there is very little chance of something going wrong with this watch. It really has been built to last.
