When looking for suits in different price brackets, I was surprised to find this Bianco Brioni linen suit (not to be confused with the “Brioni” suit brand) at such a cost effective price! The suit looked great in the photos. Now, I had to re-take some of my measurements before I could finally decide on which size I was going to get. Tip: I suggest measuring yourself regularly when buying clothing online to ensure a good fit and to avoid hassles with returns. As I revisited the site and checked out the suit, it seemed to grow on me and I was glad to find they had my size in stock. The taupe color which is hard to find in nice linen suits was really one of the clinchers that sealed the deal for me buying the suit.

Fast forward to when the package was delivered, I immediately tried the suit on. Upon wearing it, I found that the jacket fit perfectly. I was extremely pleased to find that the custom button holes actually worked (they don’t on some suits so it’s worth noting). The dual side vents and notch lapel were great too. The fully lined interior of the suit which had hand-pick stitching and was made out of linen, felt very classy and premium – something that I really did not expect since I had bought it for such a bargain. I did have some minor issues with the buttons because they felt somewhat loose. I had to ask a friend to strengthen the sewing on the buttons to make sure they don’t detach.

The pants fit me well although I must mention they were not hemmed and I had to get a tailor to sort it out. The overall fit of the pants was not too tight which suits my taste. You might want to get a slightly bigger size if you prefer your pants loose or a slightly smaller size if you prefer them tight. The skinny/slim look with suits can suit the right person but for business purposes, it’s best to stick with a regular or slightly tapered fit.

I also made sure to compare the color quality of the suit versus what I saw on the photo since it was a large part of the reason I purchased the suit. Good news to report – the color looks even better in real life. Another nice surprise was the fact that the suit doesn’t crease much when worn. The folks at Bianco Brioni know how to pick their fabric really well. I find this suit to be a great alternative to normal black suits and light khaki suits since it can exude a more casual vibe without getting easily dirtied, unlike the khaki suits I own. That’s not to say you can’t wear it for business. The fit of the suit absolutely allows for business wear.

If you are in the market for a good suit, then you might want to consider buying this one. You will not be disappointed with what you get especially at the price.
